No public holiday in Melbourne is complete without a dance event. Those with a taste for house music should check out Phreakin on Sunday 26 January. The huge DJ lineup includes Jeff Tyler, Ben Henderson, Scott Finemore, Matt Keleher, Pip D'Aloia, Benny Good Times, Brad Daniels, Tyson, Mista C, Seth Taylor, Andy Arnott, and Abe. The Phreakin sound is “super tuff phunk rock house” which brings on images of tech, tribal, and tasteful house to get you dancing. Phreakin members who sign up by joining the mailing list will be able to pick up a free CD mixed by Phreakin residents Jeff Tyler and Tyson on the night.
Phreakin starts at 9pm and goes through until 7am. Entry is $10 and the party is on at Two Floors Up, Level 1/185 Lonsdale St City.
