- The label will team up with Private Selection for a party at an undisclosed Echo Park location this Saturday.
LA labels Proximal and Private Selection will host a joint label showcase this Saturday, February 7th.
The party will also act as the release party for Santa Monica producer Sahy Uhns' Courtship Dances LP, released back in November on Proximal. Uhns, the nom de plume for Carl Madison Burgin, makes dreamy beat music with custom software. His label-mates Wake and Lawrence Grey tread similar territory and also appear on Saturday's bill. Private Selection hardware house trio Bodymasters and Mayacamas complete the lineup. The organizers ask that guests RSVP for location information.
