  • A new club is opening in Brighton called Patterns. Patterns will occupy the seafront space currently held by Audio, which closes for good this weekend. Due to open on Wednesday, May 13th, the new-look venue will be given a full redesign, including an upgrade to the soundsystem. Like Audio, the music policy will largely focus on house and techno on weekends, with live music and popular local night Bastard Pop running during the week. In terms of events, the likes of Tief, Dimensions and Bugged Out! are all on board, with Anthony Parasole, Tin Man, DVS1, Dave Clarke, Amir Alexander, Nick Höppner, Gilles Peterson and HNNY also confirmed. For the launch weekend, Patterns will host official afterparties for Brighton's Great Escape festival. Lineups for those events are still TBA. Before work can start on the new venue, Audio will sign off with two parties this weekend. Breach headlines the first on Friday, February 27th, before Simian Mobile Disco drop the curtain once and for all on the Saturday night. The Saturday party is sold out. Tickets to Breach at Audio are available here on RA.
