  • DRS will drop a new LP, Mid Mic Crisis, on March 30th. Delroy Pottinger has been a staple in drum & bass since the very early days, but it wasn't until 2012 that he got around to releasing a solo album. Now he's following that up relatively quickly with Mid Mic Crisis, which will see him return to Marcus Intalex's Soul:R imprint. The LP features a cast of producers from across different genres, including Addison Groove, Toddla T, Calibre, Jubei, DJ Die, Intalex himself and plenty of others. "People have accepted me as an artist and not just a guy who shouts at them in dark rooms," DRS says. "As a musician I'm naturally inquisitive and open-minded. I'm constantly analysing and breaking down music and genres. So for me to just make a drum & bass album, or just whatever... I wouldn't be being true to myself, or be satisfied. All I ever want to express is my way of thinking and viewing the world in the very best way I can. My life is yin and yang, light and dark, happy and sad, so is my music and my new album."
