The Woodstock festival, happening in May, also features Matthew Dear and a Drumcode showcase.
Mysteryland is a staple of the Dutch festival scene (and the self-proclaimed longest-running dance music festival in the world), and it made its debut in the states last year at the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts, the site of the original 1969 Woodstock festival. Last year's configuration was split down the middle between EDM and a more underground-oriented Sunday School "mini-fest," while this year looks to be more evenly spread.
The Main Stage will feature a host big EDM names like Porter Robinson, Diplo and Dillon Francis along with Netsky, Classixx and Empire Of The Sun. Other highlights include a Matthew Dear-curated stage with Maya Jane Coles and Ryan Elliott, a Drumcode showcase with Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber and Ida Engberg as well as two days of Verboten programming with Damian Lazarus, Guti, The Martinez Brothers and Audiofly (who will be collaborating with Verboten for a Flying Circus-branded stage on the Sunday). Zeitgeist will have an open-air stage to itself as well, and that one will feature more crossover-friendly acts like Skream, Benoit & Sergio, Moon Boots and KiNK.
As with last year, there will be a special closing ceremony on Sunday night. And while the festival begins in earnest Saturday morning, those who arrive on Friday will be treated to three stages worth of music, including a special headliner still under wraps.
