- The UK producer will release his soundtrack for The Goob on his new Buffalo Temple label in May.
Luke Abbott has a new album on the way.
Music For A Flat Landscape comprises the score that Abbott wrote for forthcoming British film The Goob. Already the recipient of an award from the Stockholm Film Festival, the soundtrack is said to be a natural companion to last year's Wysing Forest, this time inspired by Abbott's home in Norfolk (which is also the setting for the movie) as opposed to the previous record's Cambridgeshire origins.
The new LP also marks the launch of Abbott's own label, Buffalo Temple, an imprint that promises future releases from Abbott and collaborators later this year. Music For A Flat Landscape will come on vinyl in a limited edition of 500, plus "hand-printed" CD and digital formats. You can watch a trailer for The Goob, featuring Abbott's music, below.
