With the launch of their new In The House series this month, Defected Records have been busy lining up and signing new tracks. Titled the West Coast Sessions, Jay-J and Miguel Migs will be in charge of selecting and programming the 2 disc set.
One of those tracks that has been signed is 'I Can Feel It' by The Rhythm Slaves, AKA Richard Gow, from Deepfunk Records. When this EP first arrived, it gained dramatic attention with its funk and groove spilling off into DJs boxes and radio playlists. This is an acheivement for the Deepfunk crew as the In The House series will be a very sought after compilation and will create great exposure for their records.
Just over its first year of launching, Deepfunk have gained much repect in the industry with DJs like Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Johnny Fiasco, Miguel Migs and Julius Papp following their productions.
