DJ Pete, Mark Ernestus, Head High, Finn Johannsen and more will head to an open-air spot in Schönefeld for the next two-day event.
Wax Treatment is the well-known event series connected to Berlin's Hard Wax record store. Since its former home Horst Krzbrg closed in early 2013, Wax Treatment has exclusively been an open-air summer event, held at numerous locations outside central Berlin. This month's two-dayer will take place at Kiekebusch Open Air, a spot in bushland south of Schönefeld Airport. You'll find all the usual selectors on the bill—DJ Pete, Hops and Mark Ernestus—alongside the Burnt Friedman, Jahtari feat. Tonto Addi, Dub Across Borders and Tapes, all of whom will be dishing out sound via Wax Treatment's weighty Killasan sound system. Shed's Power House label will take over on Sunday night, with sets from Head High and Finn Johannsen confirmed so far. Free camping and a variety of food options will be available.
