Sydney venue Q Bar will be permanently closing next month.
22 years after first opening back in 1993, Q Bar announced the news of their impending closure yesterday via their Facebook page. The Oxford Street club and live music venue is known as much for its character (arcade games and sticky carpets are key features) as its diverse musical heritage, hosting everything from dance to punk to hip-hop across its three rooms. Q's final night will happen on July 19th, with a range of guest DJs TBA playing from 5 PM until late.
