- Grooveman Spot and Eglo affiliate Sauce81 will drop an album on Jazzy Sport next week.
Japanese duo 77 Karat Gold will release an album titled Wannafunkwitu on Jazzy Sport on June 17th.
77 Karat Gold comprises two serious movers and shakers in the Tokyo scene. Grooveman Spot runs Jazzy Sport, a Japanese record collecting institution with a label, two shops, a distributor and studio to its name. Former Red Bull Music Academy participant Sauce81 is best known outside of Japan for the Natural Thing / Bustin' 7-inch, released on Eglo last year. On Wannafunkwitu the two artists have served up an 11-track collection of modern Japanese funk.
