With their upcoming tour to Australia and New Zealand approaching, a rather large spanner has been thrown in the works. Robert Del Naja or otherwise known as 3D, has been questioned regarding child pornography and that he wants to clear his name before leaving the UK. 3D was arrested 2 weeks ago regarding the offences and was out on bail pending further investigation.
3D has pleaded his innocence and told a UK newspaper that "I have never looked at child pornography in my life. I am co-operating with the police and would ask everyone not to judge me prematurely. I have total faith in the justice system."
In turn, Massive Attack have cancelled gigs in Auckland and Wellington but hope to make the later dates in Australia next week.
