Suzanne Kraft and Sage Caswell play live ambient sets in LA

- A pop-up gallery called Temporary Spaces will host a show with Suzanne Kraft, Sage Caswell and White Poppy on July 31st. White Poppy is the nom de plume for Vancouver musician Crystal Dorval, who just released her new album, Natural Phenomena, via LA-based label Not Not Fun. She'll headline the show with support from Suzanne Kraft (AKA Diego Herrera) and Hollywood-based producer and DJ Sage Caswell. Both of the latter artists have dabbled heavily in ambient music. Herrera released the largely beatless Missum EP on Running Back last year and dropped his relaxing Talk From Home album earlier this month. In 2014, Caswell handed in 53 minutes of original ambient material for the White Light Mixes. The gig on the 31st marks the first time either artist has performed an ambient set live.
