- The New Yorker will hit the Lone Star state next month.
Patricia will headline parties in Austin and Dallas on August 7th and 8th.
The New York producer, real name Max Ravitz, is known for smudgy, analog-driven dance productions as explored on his Body Issues full-length for Opal Tapes (which also launched its Black Opal sub-label) and the Side Piece EP for Ghostly International. He'll follow those up with another release for Opal Tapes soon.
In Dallas, he's joined by local producer TX Connect, AKA Gavin Guthrie. Though Guthrie hails from deep in the heart of Texas, his acidic sound has found its way into the world via European labels such as Crème Organization and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams. Gina G and AFTV round out the Dallas lineup. The next night, Patricia heads to Austin, where he'll play the launch event for XNOR Media, a new imprint releasing art and music. That show takes place at the Tamale House.
