- Lollopy Dripper, the duo's first collaborative record in ten years, is coming out in October.
Nonplace Records has announced details of Lollopy Dripper, a collaborative album from Burnt Friedman and Atom TM as Flanger.
Due out October 16th, it's the first new Flanger since 2005's Spirituals. As with the project's previous records on Ninja Tune and Friedman's own label, Nonplace, Lollopy Dripper touches on different shades of experimental jazz. The album was produced between April and June 2015 in Friedman's Berlin studio with a similar set-up to the one used for the debut Flanger release, Templates, which came out in 1999. Hayden Chisholm plays saxophone on two tracks—"Sweet Silence" and "Mulch."
