  • Gobstopper Records is marking its fifth anniversary with two reissues. The label was started back in 2010 by UK producer Mr. Mitch as an outlet for the kind of grime he preferred—bright and colourful—at a time when it was still anomalous. Since then, Gobstopper has released records from the likes of Strict Face, Dark0, Loom and Iglew, along with plenty of EPs from Mitch himself. Now they're celebrating five years by reissuing two classic tunes with brand new remixes. First up is Mr. Mitch's "The Man Waits," taken from last year's Room Where I Belong EP. That one will see reworks from Logos, Gage and Iglew. Following that, they'll look back even further with Bloom's "Quartz," which dates back to 2012. This time, it's given a VIP makeover from the Irish producer himself, as well as a new rework from Rabit. Tracklist Mr. Mitch - The Man Waits (Remixes) 01. The Man Waits 02. The Man Waits (Logos Remix) 03. The Man Waits (Gage Remix) 04. The Man Waits (Iglew Remix) Bloom - Quartz VIP 01. Quartz 02. Quartz VIP 03. Quartz (Rabit Remix) Gobstopper Records will release The Man Waits (Remixes) and Quartz VIP on October 2nd, 2015.
