- LPs from CFCF, Jan Schulte and Gatto Fritto are also in the works.
International Feel will kick off a new series of mini-albums with Len Leise's Lingua Franca.
Due out October 30th, Lingua Franca is the Australian artist's second release for Mark Barrott's label, following last year's Music For Forests. The record aims to take the listener on "an imaginary journey based on real experiences," with stops in Morocco, Spain, Russia, India and Brazil. It's the first in a run of mini-albums on International Feel tied together by their length—six to eight tracks—and a loose concept for artists to "show more of who they are musically without the constraints of the traditional album format." Leise's effort will be followed by mini-LPs from Canadian artist CFCF, Salon Des Amateurs resident Jan Schulte (who has put together an ambient album) and Gatto Fritto.
