Four dates are on the schedule this month for the Berlin-based DJ and Perlon favorite.
Thomas Melchior will head stateside later this month for a run of four East Coast gigs.
Perhaps best known for his alias Melchior Productions Ltd, Melchior is a respected purveyor of sleek and minimal house music. A longtime fixture of Berlin's Perlon label—where his well-loved album No Disco Future saw release in 2007—he's also appeared on labels like Aspect Music and Lick My Deck, the latter of which is about to put out his next EP, Tracking The Psyche.
Melchior doesn't often play in the US, and on this trip he'll split his four East Coast bookings across two weekends. First up is Miami's Treehouse next Friday the 16th, where Un_mute has him booked along with another Perlon affiliate, Sammy Dee, and the next evening he'll be in Brooklyn for a Resolute all-nighter also featuring Daniel Bell, Piticu and Topper. Friday the 23rd sees Melchior swing through Chicago for a Paradigm loft party (Barac is the other out-of-town guest at that one) before the tour finishes on Saturday the 23rd in Washington DC, where he's just been added to the bill at Flash alongside Derrick May.
Tickets to all four events—Miami, Brooklyn, Chicago and DC—are available on RA.
