  • Pioneer DJ's latest is the XDJ-700. It's a digital player, which means that, like the XDJ-1000, it doesn't have a CD drive—music is played solely off of USBs or rekordbox, but otherwise the functionality will be familiar to CDJ users. The 700 is more compact than the 1000, with a scaled-down jogwheel, but it maintains many of the features of the larger model. There's a full-color touch screen with a qwerty keyboard to help you search for tracks. The usual playback features, like Beat Sync and Slip Mode, are also present. Pioneer DJ also says it's the first player at this price point with Pro DJ Link, which allows one source to be shared across up to four players or laptops. The full feature set is outlined in the video embedded below.
The XDJ-700 is coming soon from Pioneer DJ for a suggested retail price of €699.
