NTS collaborates with Chinese artist Zhang Ding for ICA exhibition

- NTS Radio has helped curate the music for an exhibition at London's Institute Of Contemporary Arts in collaboration with Chinese artist Zhang Ding. Enter The Dragon, which opened on Monday, October 12th and runs until the 25th, directly references the final scene in Bruce Lee's celebrated film of the same name. The installation will feature a "mutating sound platform" that places two music stages in a room covered with "reflective surfaces, suspended sound panels and a series of rotating mirrored sculptures." Various artists will perform every day for the duration of the exhibition, chosen by Shanghai-based Ding and representatives from NTS. The likes of Powell, Tapes, Throwing Shade and Bo Ningen have already performed, but plenty is still to come. 1080p's Scientific Dreamz Of U plays tonight (Friday, October 16th), before the weekend has Antidröm and experimental drone duo Vision Fortune on Saturday, and Rob Lye and rosen on Sunday. Other highlights include Heatsick and Lukid (20th), Lord Tusk (21st), and PAN boss Bill Kouligas, who lines up alongside Amnesia Scanner and TBA guests on the final night.
