  • PC Music has been acquired by Columbia Records. While the exact terms of the deal have not been announced, a statement on PC Music's Facebook page says linking up with Columbia, which itself is part of the Sony empire, has created "a new, perfect breed of major label." For its part, PC Music is promising "a fast-paced production line of laplanders and lifestyles, sups and secret mixes, wannabes, warlords and Western beats." The labels will begin the partnership by co-releasing a new EP from PC Music affiliate Danny L Harle. Titled Broken Flowers, it's due to drop on November 20th. "Pop music in itself is super-crazy," says Harle. "It's on the brink of insanity. And what I have always been hoping to do is just push it that little bit further, to complete insanity." Listen to EP track "Forever" below.
