- Decimus 7 is due to land in December.
Seattle's Further Records is putting out another album from Decimus, AKA New York experimental artist Pat Murano.
Scheduled for release next month, Decimus 7 is the second Further-issued Decimus LP, following 2013's Decimus 10. Murano, who's also known as a co-founder of the experimental rock group No-Neck Blues Band, has lately been focused on his solo project. There has already been close to two dozen Decimus releases over the past five years or so, with much of it coming through Murano's own label, Kelippah. (He's also released on Opal Tapes, Digitalis and NNA Tapes.)
Decimus 7 continues along the lines of previous efforts, with two side-long soundscapes that Further describes as "[leading] the listener to a disturbing, mind-altering realm" with "no direction home... nor even a concept of what 'home' is anymore." Tune in to both tracks below.
