FaltyDL, Tobacco and more are booked for the indie-minded January festival.
Tomorrow Never Knows is known for events that mix established talent and up-and-comers, focusing mostly on indie rock. The festival spreads across some of the Windy City's key mid-sized venues, including Lincoln Hall, Schubas, The Hideout and the neighboring Smart Bar and Metro. Atop TNK 2016's lineup are bands like San Fermin and The Go! Team, but a clutch of electronic artists will also be on hand.
Tobacco, a solo artist affiliated with Ghostly International (not to mention a member of Pittsburgh psych-pop group Black Moth Super Rainbow), gets high billing, and a couple other Ghostly artists, Heathered Pearls and Shigeto, are also confirmed. Ninja Tune's FaltyDL will play a set, and on the local front are Smart Bar residents Justin Long, Nathan Drew Larsen and Sevron.
