The California festival, happening in May, has announced its lineup for this year.
Now in its 11th year, Lightning In A Bottle has become a fixture of the early festival season in the US. It has an emphasis on art and stage design, as well as "healing arts" along with environmental and spiritual education. The lineup this year is the usual mixture of club-oriented DJs, live performers and festival staples. Among the headliners are Moderat, Jamie xx, Four Tet and Grimes.
The roster is spread over three stages: the Lightning Stage has an emphasis on live acts, while the Thunder Stage—which features Cashmere Cat, TOKiMONSTA and EPROM—is geared more towards hip-hop and beat music. The Woogie will be of the most interest to house and techno fans, and they've got Guy Gerber, Josh Wink, Lee Burridge, Magda and Steve Bug there.
Non-musical attractions include the Lucent Temple Of Consciousness—"a place dedicated to enriching the mind and body, with visionary talks, world-class yogis and a plethora of life-changing workshops," plus the interactive art of The Village and a handful of other features like a casino and burlesque joint.
