Physical Therapy and Umfang play World Party

- They'll be joined by Doss and Negative Gemini for the first edition of of the new series in Brooklyn next weekend.
- World Party will go down at Palisades on Saturday, January 30th. The lineup is topped by local favorite Daniel Fisher, AKA Physical Therapy, whose genre-hopping Hit The Breaks EP landed on Liberation Technologies at the end of last year. Umfang, another staple of Brooklyn's left-leaning techno scene, is also scheduled to play. The night's opening acts lean less towards dance music. Acéphale artist Doss will round out the bill alongside Negative Gemini, who runs the local label 100% Electronica and is preparing to release her second album Body Work. It's the "first in-house Palisades promoted dance event," venue management said. The show is all ages and goes till 4 AM. Check out Umfang's track "Pills," which dropped via Sweat Equity in December.
