The Croatian festival has announced the first round of names for its fifth anniversary event.
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Croatian festival, which is returning to Fort Punta Christo, Pula, from August 25th through 29th. Massive Attack have been confirmed as headliners—they'll perform at the opening concert, which will be held inside an historic local amphitheatre, on August 25th.
The lineup so far features plenty of respected US house and techno selectors, including Joe Claussell, Moodymann, Gene Hunt, Daniel Bell, DJ Qu, DJ Stingray, Marcellus Pittman, Rahaan, Kyle Hall, Ryan Elliott, Kai Alcé, Mood II Swing and Fit Siegel.
A solid Ostgut Ton contingent will perform, with Marcel Dettmann, Rødhåd, Tama Sumo, Ben Klock and Virginia, who will play live with Steffi and Dexter, all confirmed. Other highlights include Andy Stott, DJ Spinn, Matias Aguayo, the Hessle Audio crew (Ben UFO, Pangaea, Pearson Sound), Hunee, Jeremy Underground, Antal, Soichi Terada, Mim Suleiman, Awesome Tapes From Africa, Motor City Drum Ensemble and the Moritz Von Oswald Trio.
There's also room for newer talents like Josey Rebelle, Helena Hauff, Shanti Celeste, Sassy J and Pender Street Steppers, while bass-focused sounds will come from Kahn, Mala, Alix Perez, DBridge and Calibre.
