Guti, Davide Squillace and MK will also play the three-day house festival in April.
Groovefest originally launched in 2012 as an all-inclusive, week-long festival in The Dominican Republic, booking house acts from across the UK, Europe and US. The music policy remains the same for the new Maltese venture, which will be held at Gianpula, a nightclub on the outskirts of Rabat that's been open for 24 years. So far Apollonia, Kerri Chandler, Chez Damier and MK are the main draws, with additional slots for Circoloco regulars Matthias Tanzmann, D'Julz, Tania Vulcano and Davide Squillace. Hot Since 82, Detroit Swindle and Guti have also been booked. More names will be added in the coming months.
Groovefest's flagship edition will return to The Dominican Republic in 2016, taking place from September 4th through 11th. The lineup for that one is still TBA.
