- The New York producer will release his first full-length through Entro Senestre's new Bank Records NYC label.
Bookworms has an LP on the way.
Xenophobe follows a steady few years for New Yorker Nik Dawson. After making a splash with his "African Rhythms" track on L.I.E.S.—one of that label's defining early releases—he's had a few more records come out on on L.I.E.S., as well as Confused House and Nord.
For Dawson's next endeavour, his most substantial release yet, he's moving over to Entro Senestre's new imprint Bank Records NYC. Xenophobe comprises seven tracks split over two 12-inches. Some of them go back all the way to 2008 when Dawson was still based in SF and up to last year when he was "freezing here in [New York]," as he said in a Facebook post. "Cover art is a meditation on how fools just cross each other out forever. It's all love tho," he adds. You can listen to snippets below.
