Madteo will headline the Ambulance night at Union this Friday, February 26th.
Last year, the enigmatic Queens resident released an EP called Raveyard Shifts on Parisian label Latency. RA's Angus Finlayson said those tracks have a "hypnotic quality that rewards deep listening—preferably through a fog of exhaustion and alcohol." That's the vibe this weekend at the sprawling Union club, which opened over Valentine's Day with A Club Called Rhonda blowout. Also on Friday's bill is Dreams, the co-founder the Private Selection label who has an EP on the way via Nous Disques. Ambulance is organized by the Delroy Edwards-affiliated Gene's Liquor crew.
