Bok Bok has launched a new mix series called Essentials today.
The Night Slugs co-founder has been working on production for the forthcoming album from R&B singer Kelela. He dropped the two-track single Papaya Gloss around this time last year, and has been steadily releasing new Night Slugs material from producers like Jam City, Neana and Hysterics (AKA GIRL UNIT).
The first Essentials first mix focuses on "how to rave at 105 BPM, a party in the cold tropics." It features tracks from label-mates like Helix and Kingdom, as well as original edits and plenty of tracks from American rap and R&B artists. Listen to it below.
