- The label welcomes a new producer to their DJ tools series.
DJC will debut on Night Slugs with Club Constructions Vol. 7 on March 29th.
The London label launched the Club Constructions Community in 2014, which asked producers to submit demos of stripped-back DJ tools. They required these tracks to be "as raw as possible, built around one simple idea, [with] no melody (three notes or less)." Since then they've released Club Constructions EPs from Helix, Jam City and Hysterics, among others.
The series' seventh release comes from an unknown producer by the name of DJC, and features four tracks of raw hip-hop instrumentals. "Sands Tool," a bonus track offered up for free download, appeared in label boss Bok Bok's mix last week—the first in his ongoing Essentials series.
