Animal Collective sets up camping festival in Big Sur

- The Animal Collective camping festival will go down at Fernwood Resort in Big Sur, California over September 23rd and 24th. In February, the long-running group released their latest record for Domino, Painting With, and they'll stay out on the road for the majority of the spring and summer months. September brings them to picturesque Big Sur, a town full of dramatic seaside cliffs near San Francisco on the Pacific Coast Highway. AnCo will play both nights of the festival, and they've also brought in LA modular synthesist M. Geddes Gengras, Tri Angle's experimental pop act WIFE and Drag City songwriter Jessica Pratt for sets.
