  • Secretsundaze are opening a studio in London. Founders James Priestley and Giles Smith have teamed up with CDR's Tony Nwachukwu, George Levings, AKA Endian, and Sam Jones from Soundthread to create a recording, mixing and mastering facility. It'll be available at "affordable rates" seven days a week, with engineering assistance an optional extra. The studio will also routinely host artist residencies and a selection of production courses, while Nwachukwu will present a new project called "Out The Box," which gives budding producers the chance to present new work and receive feedback from the CDR community. In terms of equipment, the studio features a desk with Studer preamps, an Akai valve tape machine and a selection of vintage and modern synthesisers, among other pieces.
