Mental Overdrive's mid-'90s techno album Plugged has been remastered for a fresh release on Prins Thomas's Rett I Fletta label.
Originally released in 1995 via Love OD Communications, Plugged is the work of Tromsø-born producer Per Martinsen. After moving to London in 1987 and working as an assistant programmer in This Heat's Cold Storage studio in Brixton, Martinsen went on to release music on R&S Records, Virgin and Music Man in the '90s. Plugged, which saw Martinsen exploring more experimental sounds, will be re-released on triple-vinyl, CD and digital formats. The album will be followed by a remix package featuring versions of Mental Overdrive material by Prins Thomas and Blackbelt Andersen.
