- The UK producer will return with a two-track 12-inch next month.
Paul Woolford's new single, Mother & Child, will land on Hotflush Recordings on June 3rd.
It's Woolford's third 12-inch for Hotflush, following the label-defining Untitled in 2013 and last year's MDMA. BBC Radio presenter Annie Mac premiered the A-side on her radio show last week. "I've been doing some more soundtrack projects and it sort of comes from there," Woolford told her. "I'm working with more instruments—an orchestral sound—and that's made me interested in bringing that onto records that work on the dancefloor." On the B-side, he "strips back all the rhythmic elements," the label says, leaving a "sprawling tapestry of strings and synths."
