Zenker Brothers, Jlin and Ninos Du Brasil are booked for their three events next month.
The Kraków-based experimental festival announced plans for a few international events earlier this month, taking place in Krgyzstan, Georgia and New York City. Now they've unveiled lineups for three collaborative gigs in New York: one with the local festival Sustain-Release and two with the promoter and label The Bunker New York. Milan festival Club To Club will also pitch in on the Sunday daytime event.
First up is a Bunker show at Good Room on the 16th. Cliff Lothar, the rising Viewlexx affiliate, is scheduled to play a live set alongside Crimes Of The Future duo of Timothy J. Fairplay and Scott Fraser. Interdimensional Transmissions co-founder Erika will head over from Detroit for a DJ set, with support from MUTEK Mexico organizer Damián Romero. Beau Wanzer, Further Reductions and Nihal Ramchandani will hold it down in the adjacent Bad Room.
The gig with Sustain-Release goes down the next night: it's at Good Room as well. Top billing goes to Zenker Brothers, who run the Munich-based techno label Ilian Tape, as well as Indiana footwork wiz Jlin, playing live. Local favorite Via App will also do a live set in the main room, as will Polish selector Olivia, of the Radar collective. White Material man DJ Richard will spin for all six hours in the Bad Room.
The closing Sunday event is a daytime gig in the backyard patio of Trans Pecos in Ridgewood, Queens. Oddball Italian percussion duo Ninos Du Brasil will play alongside fellow countryman Vaghe Stelle and Greg Fox of the New York metal band Liturgy. There will also be DJ sets by organizers of Turin's Club to Club festival, who are co-presenting the show with Unsound and The Bunker.
