Robert Hood will release the two-track Paradygm Shift Volume 2 through Dekmantel next month.
Paradygm Shift is a three-part EP series that the Detroit techno producer announced in January. It sees him "bringing minimalism back to the forefront," Hood says, getting back to the "simple repetitive programming" that he's known for. Paradygm Shift Volume 1 landed on Dekmantel in February (RA's Ray Phlip called it "elegant" but "urgent"), and Volume 2 has been announced for next month. There will be a third EP some time this year followed by an album that collects material from all three.
