- The Warp Records duo's new four-tracker features Empress Of and Gaika.
Warp Records will release Darkstar's Made To Measure EP on July 15th.
The new one follows the duo's 2015 album, Foam Island, a record RA's Andrew Ryce called "a reflection of the melancholy associated with the North of England." The label says since that full-length, Aiden Whalley and James Young have immersed themselves in collaborative work. Made To Measure's lead track, "Reformer," features Terrible Records artist Empress Of. Another EP track, "Black Ghost," has them working with Mixpak affiliate Gaika, and the press release also reports they've been in the studio with Jessie Ware while scoring a short film called Dreamlands, set for premiere at Cannes.
