- The Mika Vainio collaborator's next LP is scheduled for a September release.
French avant-garde guitarist and composer Franck Vigroux has revealed details of a new album, Rapport Sur Le Désordre, which is due out in September through his own label DAC Records (D'Autres Cordes).
It'll be Vigroux's first solo full-length since 2014's Ciment. His pursuits in the interim have included linking up with Mika Vainio and Matthew Bourne to put out albums, and teaming with noted video designer Kurt D'Haeseleer for an audiovisual performance called Centaure. We're told both that show and Rapport Sur Le Désordre (the former happens to make use of material from the latter) are "the final chapters of a dense series on dystopia" that's involved his Camera Police and We LPs, his 2011 radio piece D503 and a couple other "trans-disciplinary" concerts. The new album—whose name translates to "Report Of Disorder" in English—will come on vinyl and digital formats, with photography and design handled by ABM Studio.
