Sublight Velocities / Semiclassical Gravity will be the first solo TW record in four years.
The record, Sublight Velocities / Semiclassical Gravity, connects the longtime industrial techno producer and Sonic Groove boss, real name Adam Mitchell, and the well-established (and very busy) noise and experimental label run by Dominick Fernow (AKA Vatican Shadow and Prurient). Due out in the next month or two, it's also Mitchell's first solo release as Traversable Wormhole—his deeper, "science fiction" techno project—since 2012, and the first to be issued on vinyl away from the TW imprint, though that's where a digital version will end up seeing release. The artist himself says we can expect "further advancements in the exploration of sound, space and dimension."
Janina Schütz, who's been behind the artwork for much of Mitchell's music and other Sonic Groove material in recent years, took care of the visuals for this one.
