Daniel Avery will release a new remix single later this month.
Sensation/Clear, from last year, was the 50th release on Erol Alkan's Phantasy Sound and also marked Avery's first record following his landmark 2013 LP Drone Logic. RA's Patric Fallon said both sides of the 2015 single "could handle their own in the plateaux of a marathon DJ set."
Now the label has landed a pair of remixes from producers with unique takes on techno. First up is Eaux boss Rrose, offering his take on "Sensation." The mysterious producer has been in a collaborative mood lately, working with Orphx, Tujurikkuja and Kangding Ray on respective 2016 EPs. Northern Electronics head Abdulla Rashim handles the B-side with a new version of "Clear."
