  • Montevideo club Phonotheque will co-host a party at Club der Visionaere this Wednesday, August 31st. Beginning at 3 PM, the event is in collaboration with Noon, the long-running night from Club der Visionaere resident Binh. Phonotheque will be represented by resident Z@p and co-owner Christian, who share the bill with Binh, Omar and Uruguayan export Nicolas Lutz. The party comes at the tail end of Z@p's current European tour, which has seen him touch down for slots in Ukraine, Ibiza and Berlin, with dates in Tokyo and Seoul still to come. Opened in 2013, Phonotheque is one of South America's key spots for house and techno. Its residents includes some of the continent's best-loved DJs, such as respected veteran DJ Koolt. The club also curates a podcast series, which you can check out here. Stream a recent recording of DJ Koolt playing at Phonotheque.
