Mike Dehnert will put out his next record on Pampa in October.
Pampa co-founder DJ Koze recently put together a two-CD mix gathering 19 exclusives from label acts and friends, and he's now signed two records from the Berlin-based Dehnert. Last year, the techno producer passed a milestone of his own, releasing the full-length 8 Years Fachwerk collection on his own imprint. Pampa describes the A-side, "How Close To Be" as "a stuttering march of half-heard and half-imagined discourse." The B-side is built from "warped jazz" and "static motorik patterns."
Koze also took to Facebook today to introduce a new techno sub-label called Hart & Tief. Soulphiction handles the A-side on that one, "Sky So High," with Dehnert providing another cut for the B.
