Terre Thaemlitz's next trip back to the states (and Canada) starts this Thursday.
House music luminary Terre Thaemlitz will play six DJ Sprinkles gigs in the US and Canada this month.
Thaemlitz, a US native who's lived in Japan for some 15 years, recently revealed a series of Will Long EPs, featuring Sprinkles overdubs, that are being put out through her own Comatonse label. She's now about to embark on her first set of North American DJ gigs since last fall.
The tour starts next Thursday the 15th with Make It New at Cambridge's Middlesex Lounge. Thaemlitz will then make her way to Sustain-Release in upstate New York that Friday for a late-night headlining set and a Saturday-afternoon talk, before playing Good Room in Brooklyn that Saturday evening, where longtime Virginia jock DJ Aakmael is also confirmed.
Friday the 23rd has him touching down in LA to headline Dig Deeper's two-year anniversary party, followed by Miami the next night, where she'll play from open to close at Electric Pickle to help SAFE celebrate nine years of operation. Lastly, Thaemlitz will hit Toronto on Sunday the 25th for a day-into-night party hosted by Work in Progress.
Tickets to the Sprinkles shows in Brooklyn, LA and Miami are available on RA.
