- The techno pioneer will present Light From The Outside World at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre next month.
Jeff Mills will perform with Ireland's RTÉ Concert Orchestra in Dublin on Sunday, October 30th.
Mills' first collaboration of this kind was in 2005 alongside the Montpellier Philharmonic Orchestra. Since then, he's toured orchestral shows all over the world, presenting classical music interpretations of his back catalogue. Next month's Light From The Outside World performance will take place at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, with support from Hybrasil. He'll perform a new project called Spaces, which presents compositions written in various artistic spaces around Dublin. The music will be played using an analogue setup.
Mills performed Light From The Outside World with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in London last year, and will begin a four-date residency at Barbican in June 2017. He's also onboard for our In Residence series, headlining Goa Club in Rome on October 14th.
