Steve Bicknell has revealed plans for a new label called 6dimensions.
The new outlet is Bicknell's second label project. His first, Cosmic Records, was founded in 1993 as an offshoot of the seminal LOST parties Bicknell threw together with Sheree Rashit, which are widely credited with helping lay the foundation for techno in the UK. He's now founded 6dimensions to explore the "balance and imbalance of the human mind's natural make-up—love, fear, joy, hatred, boredom and sexuality."
Bicknell handles 6dimensions' first release with a single called Modes Of Thought. There are three full-length tracks and six locked grooves, all in line with Bicknell's minimalist aesthetic. It's due out digitally and on vinyl on November 11th.
