  • Mixcloud has updated its mobile apps. The file-hosting website has been in operation for seven years, and they've marked the occasion by implementing changes to its iOS and Android apps. According to Mixcloud, the new apps have been "rebuilt from the bottom up" with the implemented improvements based on user feedback. They're now native, which means improved load times and a more responsive user experience. Users can now share profiles, browse through a new interface and create playlists. You'll also be able to block users and report spam. Apple's latest operating system, iOS10, is also supported. The news comes in light of Mixcloud's main competitor, SoundCloud, being in the midst of negotiations for its sale to Spotify. Watch a short video about the updates.
