  • Tom and Ed started Chemical Brothers back in 1993 and since then have pushed electronic production in ways unlike many others. Sure they have released a few commercial chart topping tunes, but the boys have maintained their rather underground sound and are ranked amongst the best. In some great news for fans, The Chemical Brothers will be releasing an Album and a DVD set to celebrate the past 10 years. The Album will feature singles over the 1993 – 2003 period, including some of their best production work together with two new tracks. This will include: ‘Block Rockin' Beats’, ‘Star Guitar’, ‘The Golden Path’, ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’, ‘Out Of Control’ ‘Get Yourself High’, Setting Sun’, ‘Galaxy Bounce’, ‘Chemical Beats’ and many more... The first of these two new tunes to be included is ‘The Golden Path’ (a collaboration with The Flaming Lips) and the second is ‘Get Yourself High’ featuring Canadian rapper K-OS. The DVD will feature a prime selection of the finest music videos as well as some live and unreleased footage. There will also be a second disc holding a collection consisting of rare and previously unreleased tracks as voted for by the fans. The Album and DVD set is set to hit shelves worldwide from September 22 and if you need something to do between now and then, check out thechemicalbrothers.com.
