Coldcut have shared a new single, "Only Heaven."
The British DJ and production duo founded Ninja Tune in 1990. Their cut-up approach to sampling and turntablism was widely influential in both hip-hop and dance music. "Only Heaven," which they'll release via Ninja Tune sub-label Ahead Of Our Time, is their first new material in ten years, and it's co-produced by Dave Taylor (AKA Switch), the former M.I.A. producer. UK emcee Roots Manuva provides vocals for the track, and Brainfeeder star Thundercat lays down the bass part.
