The next release on NON Worldwide comes from newcomer Bonaventure.
Bonaventure, real name Soraya Lutangu, was one of the participants in this year's Berlin Community Radio Incubator program, where artists are given a month-long residency on the online radio station, as well as access to production software, a mentorship program, a professional photoshoot and other resources. Complexion is her first release on NON, a global crew of producers from the African diaspora, and it comes with a remix from label co-founder Chino Amobi.
A press release says that Lutangu "uses music as an identity research tool along with practical and speculative initiatives to connect her African and European roots and investigate human relationships."
