Felicita will release an EP, A New Family, via PC Music on October 21st.
Earlier this week the UK label announced a new compilation, as well as showcases at Heaven in London and Berghain in Berlin. Beyond that it's been a fairly quiet year, with only a handful of releases compared to over a dozen in 2015. Next up is a six-track EP from Felicita, who is also one half of the duo Lipgloss Twins alongside A.G. Cook. Of the recording process, Felicita says, "I spent hours and hours in the studio... I lived on dried seaweed, learnt to play the piano, fell deeper into total pop abstraction. I recorded vocals with friends, borrowed riffs from a pro-metal guitarist, spent days editing silence."
